Another of our patented designs that has quitely won a lot of money and produced big catches around wood and other cover for over a decade. This lure loves wood especially - thus its name!. Roll it over laydowns, pull it through brushpiles, bang it through stump fields. If you like crankbaiting in wood, you're going to fall in love with this cousin of our HotBack deep-diver. And if you like fishing around weeds, but hate to drag them back to the boat every cast, the Termite will be a great tool for that. The very best approach will be to "tick the tops" of weeds.

The patented Keel-Weight on the belly stabilizes the lure in cover. It also provides random sounds when it clicks against the lure. Red color is a proven "exciter" in the animal kingdom. The top-mounted, wide-gap black nickle 6/0 Sickle hook configuration hooks the fish in the upper lip getting them into the boat every time regardless of how many times the fish jumps. The patented stainless steel "V" Snag Guard adds additional hook point protection when the Termite rolls over brush, blowdowns, tree limbs, docks, rocks and weeds.. Very snagless. Very effective. Very fun to fish!  Got wood? Rocks? Weeds? GET FISH!

Approx. 2 3/4" and 3/4 oz.  Perfect size for any fish that frequently eats bait the size of your hand - even your arm. Note that musky frequently eat a single threadfin shad or minnow.  So it's not about size to predators.  It's all about the predator's perception of vulnerability and risk: "Can I grab this thing without a lot of hassle?" is a trophy fish's only concern. This lure catches bass, walleye, striper, pike, musky, and redfish and other saltwater fish whose names we've never heard of - but guys are calling to tell us about them!
