Scenario: The fish you are after are not responding to your typical approaches. Tip: Be a multi-specie angler! Fishing for only one specie limits your learning opportunities and so your chances of being more consistently successful. And that's something we should all want to be - if more is better. If you fish for bass, try fishing for walleye, striper, pike or musky. And vice versa. These fish can and will teach you things that will improve your bass catch. They are each large predator fish and predate in their own way, but the differences can help you be more successful even if just by opening up your mind a bit to their ways. But more likely, you'll catch one in a way you've not done before and that tactic will catch you another specie in much the same way. Think out of the box. When you’re fishing and it's tough, do something very different. That might just be the ticket |
