A big-blade, big-fish Flashabou lure that pulls easy as pie.  How?  The #7 blade cuts water and the big #10 “drafts” behind it. Kind of like a lead goose cutting the effort down for the goose behind it. If you're a spinnerbait guy, or even if you're NOT, this is a jewel you'll fall in love with. Heavy enough so you're always in control, but light enough and so easy-pulling that you'll throw it all day. This was new for 2009, but we've already heard reports about some monsters. Don't live near Texas, So. Cal, FL or MEX? Not to worry. This bait takes any self-respecting fish from a 4lb Spot to a 40lb Musky. Striper. Calico Bass off San Diego. Whatever. But here's the deal: Don't expect to throw this on lightweight stuff. 15lb test line minimum. Med-heavy action rods minimum. This bait is for serious fishermen. It's for serious fish. But when you get on them, load the boat!

Specifications:

• 1 5/8oz with #7 & #10 blades; hand-lacquered and hand-painted (almost too pretty to throw!)
• Flashabou dressing that puts out an amazingly flashy look - really draws attention to itself.
• Very Wide Gap 6/0 black nickel hook.
• Plus our proprietary weedless treble as a stinger hook - you'll be surprised how many fish will come on this hook.
• Black nickel ball-bearing swivel – no shiny/gaudy commercial hardware that just invites “follows”. Silky smooth.

Tips:

1. Pull the Magnum thru mid-depths, or slow-roll it in deeper weed tops or timber (weedless treble won't hurt you).
2. Shallow or deep, “dial into” the depth of the weed tops, and then just “tick the tops” using the appropriate speed of retreieve.
3. If fish are looking up, wake the lure just under the surface - a slap of the blades on top can elicit a neutral fish to come up and slam the DB Mag. In this tactic, set the hook as you would on a topwater....wait until you feel pressure on the line. 
4. As with any lure, bump the DB Mag into and over any wood or rock cover you find. Look for it!
